offering information you might or might not have at your disposal. this forum is largely about making sure you have ALL the facts before deciding to do something. if its illegal, wouldnt you rather know that before deciding one way or another? i would.

(MOS, not JWK)

Please stop making it so I have to agree with Johnny Mos...Please

I've spent tons of money in my life on stuff that seemed cool or flashy for the moment. In the end..it typically becomes a regret that I wasted X money on a freeway blaster horn that when a cop heard it....he decided to pull me over because my horn was louder than his. At that point..now there'* the cost of the horn and the ticket.

Sometimes..there'* something to be said about certain upgrades and mods. If it'* not broken..don't fix it.

Meanwhile...I'm off to change my rear exhaust manifold to a ported one....trying to fix up code P0171 ya know

was that exhaust manifold broken?

id rather be told 5 times that its illegal than not be told once. sometimes people dont know one way or another. id rather them tell me something i know already than have it assumed that i already know it and not be told.

I want an air horn on my car now!! Hmmmm Where would I put it? LOL

Sometimes I think eveyone needs to be reminded now and again of the consquences of what they are about to do. I never take it personal.

Second, its also the responsibility of the person who is doing such mod or upgrade to adhere to the rules and only apply them in the right instances. You definately dont want to drive around town scaring people with an air horn just for fun, however it is nice to use it when someone is sitting at a green light and your in a hurry to get somewhere, or someone is about to cut you off on the highway.

Those are just a couple of examples.

Father Boost gave me some advice just the other day. Its ALL good! We all know what were doing right?
