We'll classify it as a live-action toon.

And I've seen some 'toons that are definately for the older crowd. Robotech was one of them, Futurama is another. At least nobody broke out with the Snorks or Muppet Babies yet.

You ain't been watching the right cartoons! Or at least not close enough. They been "hiding" lots of stuff in them lately for the parents who watch with their kids, or us so-called grown ups that just like cartoons!!
