holding hands is not the same as sleeping with her.

Just be glad you found out early and got out cheap.
Anyone that will mess around on their steady can't be trusted. Even if she dumped him and started seeing you exclusively, it'* just a matter of time before she'll get the urge to wander again.

I get grossed out by people that get grossed out when they see people showing PDA. Also, how would you show PDA in private?
I'm not talking about the married for 30 years couples, I'm talking about the little kids at the mall that are holding eachother so close that they look like they are in a three-legged-race. And you get grossed out by me getting grossed out, come on...

I think someone has some intimacy issues

And, would you really tell a girl that you didn't want to? I mean, if your girlfriend took your hand in public, would you tell her to stop? Frankly, I couldn't care less, that'* as far as I go with PDA. I've never kissed in public or anything like that, I think that'* a bit over the top, so to a point I agree with you, but I never really thought of holding hands as PDA...

I don't know. You can't really help who you have feelings for. Sometimes you can't be sure the one you're with is the "perfect" one for you. It'* human nature to keep looking. Obviously she had bad feelings about the situation and decided to end it and devote herself to her current boyfriend. I kinda respect her for that. I'm sure it wasn't an easy decision if she had feelings for both of you. And as far as not telling her boyfriend about you, maybe she wasn't sure. Maybe she just wanted to be friends but things started getting deeper. It wouldn't be fair to him to hurt him for no real reason. In that sort of situation, total and absolute seperation is the only way to make sure that those feelings have no chance of resurfacing.

Hey man, their parents wouldn't let them do that at home, where else are they supposed to go? I guess this stuff doesn't really phase me, although I do find the little lovey emo couples humorous.
