On the radio the other morning, they were talking about an aricle dealing with childhood fears. This led in to listeners calling in with the ones that followed them to adulthood.

So, fess up, what fears followed you?

For me it'* heights and spiders.

I like flying, but can stad being high up in buildings or on cliffs and such. I just immediately feel like I'm gonna tip over the edge.

And spiders don't bug me unless they sneak up on me. Like the time I was sitting at my desk, pluggin along, and the spider that I didn't know was on my cap decided to rappel down from the bill, less than six inches from my eyes. Just about had to go home and change on that one cuz he looked to be about 3 feet across at that range..

Freaks me out?

Used to be heights, until I climbed the stairs (3 times) of the CN Tower in Toronto. Now its firearms. :?

Nope...shes harmless...its whats in her purse that weirds me out. :?

Beats the hell outta me Hmm wait tho, in NH you cannot conceal a firearm. Oh well, I'll conquer my fears when I hit the "range"

I hate mice! And spiders.

It shouldn't be too big of a fear to conquer, firearms sorta freaked me out at one point, and then I did some target shooting with a pellet rifle... and I have fired a .22 cal (longrifle?) thingy before, once you get the hang, nothing to fear, you just keep wanting to hit the dang target, but you can't really because you're a n00b

Well, I think I will have my choice of a Beretta or AR-15..I dunno..I will be staying clear of the larger caliber weapons.
