Any car making more than 200 HP should be RWD
Any car making more than 235 HP should have an optional 5 or 6 speed manual transmision
Make more V8 powered cars.
Any car weighing more than 3200LBS should be a V8.
Go back to the old way of build cars, make it so that people can work on their own cars.
Use qaulity leather and what not... my leather in my lesabre (while its nice and comfy) looks and feels more like vinly..
Make prices more reasonable.... (Creditors and insuance companies... give young people a break.... we may not have credit or experiance, but we also dont have as much money... so why charge us out the *** for insuance and loan payments when we dont make that much to begin with??)
Um.. oh yea, DONT bring an austrailian car over here and call it a GTO when it looks more like a grand prix...... Oh and bring the Rageous concept to life... that car kicked ***....
I'm done.

Build a transmission that is as notorious for reaching high miles as the engines.
Put a HUD in more cars (maybe not.....that would make my car less special).

They need to send every car they have back to the drawing board except the Bonneville and GTO.
All the other new GM cars are fugly. Bring back the curves! I can't wait till this edgy 80'* boxy retro styling fad is over.
More AWD cars.

one thing that I noticed the other day is how far behind GM is on their warranty. They could deal a major blow to those stupid korean cars if they would have a 10/100k mile warranty or something close. Warranty shows how much confidence they have in their cars IMO.

well i'm a little biased (work for powertrain), but i can say this:
our car powertrain quality smacks around everything on the road - the number one spot is lexus, but gm takes the next 5 in long term reliability (fwd anyhew)... so we're already making huge strides there, and the internal pushes for higher quality is crazy... they're not gonna let up. i think they're finally realizing that it may cost more to do it right the first time, but if you do it right the first time, you don't have to fix it XXXX times in the future...
as for design, i think gm is starting to pull out of a multi year slump, and i'm really excited by some of the stuff they're doing.
my personal wish list?
i'd like to see the camaro/firebird return - done up right - something that would just make me drool.
i'd like to see more RWD vehicles, more manuals, etc. there'* so many people i've talked to lately who can't drive a standard it'* just pathetic.
i can't really think of too much else for my wishlist.
oh, bring the lumina ss to the states... that thing is crazy.
matt
