-- Dump the Aztek (I know thats probably already in the works)
-- Less plastic in the interiors
-- Better build quality
-- Longer warranty (4/50 vs. 3/36)

Auto manufacturing is like the stock market, lots of trend chasing. One company does something and soon all the others do it.
As far as exterior design, I think GM is the leader in that department. It'* like a pendulum between a square look and a round look. For example in 92 when the Bonne got the new rounded look it seems that a few years later all the other auto makers decided to jump in on it. Then in 2000 GM switched the Bonne back to more of a square look and all the other companies are making boxes.
I agree that the interiors need to be a little more plush, get rid of all the plastic parts, or at least don't make it obviously plastic.
The prices do need to be lowered as well. GM can't compete with the other auto makers when their sport compacts are usually under 20K and GM'* are 3-4K more.
And standard technological gadgets need to be trimmed down and made into more of an option, OnStar, etc...
If anything GM needs to pay more attention to their trucks. Let Ford and Dodge fight with their "super trucks". When I think of a truck I think of it doing some off-road, hauling big loads and getting beat up a little. What good is a 4.7 0-60 truck when you need to tow a 6000 pound trailer? If you havent noticed Japanese comapanies are trying to break into the truck market, GM needs to put foot to *** on these companies and shut that market down on them right now! Make their trucks more reliable, better towing capacities, lower price, and blah blah blah.
That'* enough typing for me now, I'll relenquish the soap box.

Frankly no one cares for the "Supertrucks" reallly, not people i know.
I think the power with most GM cars now, isn't power, it'* weight. Power to weight needs to change, and making silly power isn't an answer.
The F body has the GTO replacing it, which is a much better handling car, has a nicer powertrain, etc...

this isn't much of a big deal...but i noticed that GM doesn't like to upgrade rims styles and size. ..alot of other manufacturers are droppin 17" and 18" rims on their vehicles and it complements them greatly, yet our 2004 grand ams etc... still have those 16" rims ..and my friend who has a 94 grand am has 16" stock rims.. its been 10 years!! do somethin about it!! Same with grand prix... i believe the GTX has 17" rims..but how often do you see those?? lol. Trans-Am woulda looked good too. They almost had to do it on the bonne to compensate for the size of the vehicle. ..however, i do believe the new G6 (replacing the grandam) has an option of 18" rims.. there'* a start.
