I have an old pcm, I run a 92 l27 prom/ecm which gives me a more aggresive timing curve, with no egr, and I use a mini AFC to dump the fuel in. It is a 2.2 so I have the nice ability to curve the fuel to the rpm using the 1-13 Mhz Maf scale. I rely on my Aem wide band and my EGT to give me feed back.

My tuner stays in my car and the programming is in my head.

Some day I would like to put an XFI in the car, but not now.

I have self-tuned multiple cars on multiple platforms with HPTuners.

Hmm any chance I could get you to tune mine at an Ohio meet or I can come up to you next time I'm back on that side of the state?

I don't have a tuner, but as a computer programmer/technician, I'm interested in the concept of tuning, and would love one myself. No sense doing it now, though, as I'm still mostly stock. When I get some more mods under my hood, I may go with an Intense PCM.

Yea there'* a lot a changes physically too. I started adding it up and decided I'm going to sell a top swap because I could use the money (being unemployed) and I'll save up to supercharge at a later date. So we'd be tuning for N/A.

Well without any big power adders all you can really do is make the car more fun to drive, ie. up the rev limiters, remove the top speed limiter which is set at 110 stock, play with shift points amd thats about it
