Higher rent prices means better economy. When the economy is good the unemployment rate is low. When the unemployment rate is low that means housing is in demand near the jobs.

When housing is in demand, rents go up. That equals happier landlords!

900/mo, water and trash included, one assigned covered parking spot, in the ghetto, for a 2 bedroom apartment.

old apartment in brooklyn ny.. $1000 3 bed 1 bath kitchen and liveing room with 1000 roaches and about 100 mice... :(

2 bed 3floor house 16 blocks away from my new house was $750 to rent from a slumlord, so i bought my own.

new house in allentown pa 5 bedrooms 3 bathrooms back yard 2 floor garage a huge living room and gigantic kitchen with a full basement,,i pay $850 mortage..

No offense, but stuff the economy, I'm going broke...

2 bed, 2 bath, attached garage, $835 split between me and my Brother.
Thing is, even considering that we've got a really nice place, there'* no way to move anywhere cheaper without moving to the sticks or the hood, even if we're willing to give up the garage and 100 sq.ft.

I pay 580 2 bed 1 bath 2 parking spots all utilities paid for. The average is 500-600 here for a 2 bd 1 bath
