you can find cheap, good l36 engines every were that is in the salt belt. there are a ton of lesabres and things that were owned by older folks that take care of stuff but rust out. you can make a l36/l67 combo with some tuning

I would rather pull this engine, and just build it myself, depending on what is wrong with it.

I still might end up doing rocker arms on this car.

"come home with another GTP they are cheap and rust free down there. Or I looked at a new Fusion with a 6 speed manual and I really liked it. I liked the Titanium model even more"

Ever think about getting a 05 Bonneville SLE while in FLA? Other than the rims, name badges, and the spoiler, the rest of the exterior is an exact GXP match. Can use interior GXP parts. All the GXPs are dying, plenty of GXP parts to be found.

i did the oil, plugs and wires on laurens impy. she has put 100k on it since we bought it in june of 13. 2 of the E3 plugs i put in 75k ago were cracked. had a missfire at idle. glad i replaced it with oem delco iridiums and the delco wires. also figured out if you take off the strut tower brace, and the wishbones you can put a strap on the engine lift mount and the wishbone and pull the engine forward about 2 1/2". makes a world of difference on her car.

also played with some zipties to keep all the wires from touching eachother.

Mine touch all over the place with no issues. Its when they get old and rotted out that touching becomes an issue.
