havent done anything with my car other than add washer fluid and drive to work. ive been getting cabin fever though, so i was looking through my old videos on youtube. found this. i really miss the drive in. and i REALLY miss my air horns. this whole "winter car" thing has its downsides.

No more resonator on the T'bird. I love way it sounds right now haha.

i got one of those, my old man gave me. they are pretty hard to use successfully though. he showed me how a few times and welded somethings on my jeep but i eventually just got a gas mig. they are so much easier to make a good weld.

Yes, stick welding is a true art form. Not something easily learned over night. But the MIG welder is easy to use and can be mastered in just a few days of welding.

My garage is heated to about 50 degrees all winter, unless I am working in there then I will turn it up. So no need for the block heater, but I did have the doors open, and the air temp was 0F.

I have used a Lincoln welder before, when I put floor pans in my Corvair, and I had good success with it. At work I have a MIG welder, and that is nice to use, but for around the house I am sure I can mange just fine with this Lincoln welder.

i have a friend that is a professional welder, he could do exhaust with it, i had him do a few pipes on my old jeep, but thin stuff is hard. i never seemed to be real good at it. so i got a mig and couple books. its way easier for someone who doesnt do it very much to make a good trusty weld on something thin. i got a hobart 180a and was able to do well on exhaust in one or two uses.

I plan to weld up the new resonator for the T'bird with it. How hard could it be. lol
