well you know when you have done something way too many times, got the other bearing done compete from sitting on the ground to sitting on the ground again in less than a hour yesterday. and no the dang plastic cups still stayed in the spindle on both sides like it was a 20 year old car from here in the rust belt
on the other hand its quieter than its ever been with the junk good year tires. got to love BFG, and just looking at the avg monitor they are getting better mileage already.

the first time i did a wheel bearing? not sure was in the 90'* sometime. if your PA has the same hubs as my bonnie its easier in that you can get to the bolts but harder in that they are torx. 1641343 is the gm part number for the bolts, you might want to see if you can find a reference for your car all i know for sure is thats good for my 98 and my inlaws old 96 bonnies. point is the torx get rusty and difficult to remove. and are difficult to come by at the local dealer. i do have air tools but only things really beneficial to use it on is the lug nuts and axle nut.

time for rant 2.0, why is it so difficult to buy a fuel line these days. my fuel line i thought i fixed is dripping again now. its the feed from the top of the tank to a metal line where there is/was a filter on most cars. the line looks the same as the one i did on my old car, theres no filter there but looks the same as the old one. i cut the line back and put a new connector on it. this is very difficult because there is no room and i didnt have the tool. if there was a line made up already with the right ends on it i would have happily bought it, but not even rock auto has it and the gm diagrams vaguely point to a pic of both lines and give a price of $110

Fuel lines are no fun.
I guess nowadays they expect you to walk into the local parts supply, and buy the new lines in straight sections... u then all tools to bend the aluminum lines properly. etc..etc..

these are nylon unfortunately. i was a fan till i had a couple cars with them, the rubber orings in the connectors rot and then if you touch them they leak. if you do metal at least you can just put some kind of anti corrosive coating on it and last a while. plus with with the metal ones every parts store has all kinds of ends, tubes, connections, whatever. its tough to get the right things for plastic then its tough to put together.
