Today was a good way to clean my wheels before winter.

Magic!

On the painted bits I used some wheel cleaner, well that didn't work out too good. I bought some heavy duty brake dust cleaner, and that helped out a lot. I scrubbed all of the little cubbyholes with a tooth brush. LOL Then I hit it with a cleaner wax, and a carnauba deep shine wax. I think they turned out quite well.

On the aluminum I used Mothers aluminum polish, with the power wheel and got them looking nice.

If there is a recall, then why bother butchering it? Have it done by the dealer.

That cleaning did make a huge difference! Thise mags are nasty for small holes to get into, so good job.
I am currently cleaning up 4 new caddy mags and found this Simoniz Heavy duty Rim Cleaner and it eats brake dust like it does not exist. Leave a polished shine too! The rear of these mags were real black around hub. I used SOS pads to get it all clean inside they were that bad. I like to wax too after on rim.
