Good choice. My 94 Dodge has never had to go to the Dealer, given me 160k miles and counting, and the only things replaced are the injector pump and sending unit. Be forewarned though. That year range will not do well without continuous addition of fuel lubricant. I learned the hard way.

Ya, the injector pump was engineered to rely on the sulfur "lubricant" in diesel fuel. If you make it work hard and don't replace the sulfur the Feds mandated removed, it'* going to bite you in the ***. And @$2000 (wholesale) it'* a painful bite.
