I think mine is around 15ish by 30 concrete floor a frame rafters tin siding two aluminum doors and shingled roof...no insulatons or drywall but the torpedo heater keeps er warm

I'd need a jet engine. Ever tip the front of a torpedo heater upwards till the flame goes out and smokes like a B, and then set it down top ignite again?... Talk about "afterburner effect" I wouldn't do it in an enclosed space though. It'll choke you out just before your running out the door after the re-ignition patting your eyebrows to make sure their not still on fire.

I must be lucky. My salamander only goes out when I turn it off or if my thermostat is set low enough. Doesn't smell that bad, but I can't smell that well anymore (maybe because of being fiberglass/plastic worker).

More like the igniter is dirty or wearing out. When you tip them up, it turns the igniter off, but the Kerosene keeps coming, set it down and Flame On.
