That'* more then just past due. I would recheck the plugs in a few weeks to make sure they still look good. If not there is a problem. Even a old plug shouldn't look like that. I just changed a set for a friend that had 140k on them, and they looked nice and clean.

Took the Turbo Grand Prix around the block a couple of times. Turbo spooled nicely. Datalogged the whole time. Now I'm using some software that will remap my fuel tables based on that datalog

Ill check one next weekend. That was the only plug that looked that bad, it was center rear if I remember correctly. The other 5 were similarly rusty and dirty but no white buildup. He was getting studdering and misfires above 3k rpms, I didn't even have to pull a plug out to tell they were going to be nasty and sent him off for new plugs.
I don't think he'* losing any fluids but that'* not to say the car wasn't at one point. These look like oem plugs and the car is a 94 LOL. He just got it a year ago.
Then I go for a quick drive to see if the problem is solved and notice the car is swaying back and forth like crazy. Take a look underneath the front, two snapped end links...

I drove the Montana down to Racine last night for a party, then came home again this after noon. On the way back I here a siren, I see the lights in the mirror, I'm in the left most lane so I start moving over to the left. He'* not passing me, I can hear the siren behind me but couldn't see him in my mirror. Crud, what did I do, oh ya, I just said to my wife I'm going 67 in a 55. He pulled over the guy that was right behind me. That got the heart pumping. Then I see more lights right in front of me, opps, a SUV had rolled over, and a Bonneville was in front of it with some damage. They must have got in to a tangle and the Bonneville won.
