Wife called and said he dash flashed at her the left front blinker went out. OK, pick up a pack of bulbs. She comes home a bit later with 2 packs of bulbs, one clear, one amber. The guy didn't know what one. So I pop off the light to replace the bulb. Well, this is a small 194 bulb. I have some in the shop so I go get it. Nope, still not working. What the heck. I get me DVOM, start testing. I'm looking for a fuse, I'm checking all the bulbs front and rear. What the heck???? I turn on the hazards and walk around the truck, yep, all on, wait. I lean down. There'* a blinking light on the front right below the bumper. I thought those were fog lights. I check the front left, no blink. So I pop the light off again, pull out the bulb, yep, these are the larger amber bulbs. Replace it and all is good.

Ohh where to begin.. Worked on matts oil pump in his derby car it had a pea size hole in it, got that welded then filled in the sinks with JB, and threw in a new seal but now it doesn't go back on the engine.. Threw A bar on my drivers door started the cage played around in it. We want to hit a deer with it so when I race tuesday it looks meaner LOL

Drove to my last motorcycle safety course this morning. Passed with flying colors!
Also ordered the instrument cluster to finish off the parts list for the wiring swap. First week I can take vacation time at work, its project time.

Looks like I'm under my Ram 3500 for a day again. Put it up on a friend lift'* to grease and change oil, see the differential cover has a wet spot, pick at it with a fingernail, piece of rust falls off and the wet turns into a steady drip. New cover $90, wait 2 days for ship. While I'm back there, I noticed both rear spring hangers and the one shackle I didn't replace last year are shot. Rust never sleeps here in the salty snow. $240 in materials for that.

Ya, the rear hangers are shaped like a "J" and if you live in a heavy salt zone like I do and don't keep them clean it'* a sure corrosion point. I can't complain to much, I never wash truck and it 17 years old. The Cummins still purrs so smoothly you can set a quarter on the valve cover.
