went to my buddy chris'* house and took the steering wheel off his dad 95 silverado..gonna replace his IGN switch tomorrow and put a grant wheel on it

Speaking of transmissions. I finally finished buiilding mine. Missing one part. Do you have a bearing for the end of the diff?

I do not, but I believe I have 2 diff covers.

Drove to work, after work went to advanced auto in whitehall (not usually the one I frequent) and looked for paint for my lights and the guy was short with me and not very informative.. so i left unsatisfied.. went to a diff auto parts store and got what i needed, so I'll be tinting my tail lights most likely tomorrow or saturday since i dont need to drive anywhere and that will give them time to cure.

I forgot to mention because i was passed out sleeping 2 days ago, I was asked to help a friend fix her 91 honda accord because it turns over but wont start, it seems like the engine is misfiring somewhere because when I go to start it it feels like its going to catch and fire up but it doesnt and then shuts down, it is very irritating because you think its gonna start but then doesnt. The engine looks awful as if the car sat under water for years, im narrowing it down to alternator (because it looks absolutely terrible and the car quit on her which started this) a spark plug, or the starter, not really for sure on starter considering it does turn over and a starter wont cause a car to stop on the highway.

If it is turning over and trying to start, that rules out the alternator and starter. Start with the basic tuneup stuff like spark plugs and wires.

me and my monte are in oklahoma city this week and next. the car got 34 and 32 mpg ( the a/c on and c/c set at 75 most of the time) and rolled over 170k. shes just about broke in know.

I replaced my thermostat to 180 and then washed her up! Then it turned dark and rained not even 15 mintues later! LoL!

Im thinking its a spark plug, like maybe one isnt in all the way or something

do you hear the fuel pump prime when you turn the key? typically tune up stuff will make it run crappy but it wont make it quit completely
