Worked on the hood for my truck some more. I'm starting to lose count of how many hours I have spent working on my hood, but it'* close to being finished.

I chopped the hood on my truck right at the body lines, which is raised about 1/2" compared to the sides. I raised it by about 6" so now the hood looks like it has a really wide cowl hood. At the back of the hood, I cut out 2 big Chevy bowties with some wire mesh behind those cutouts. Right now, I might have $40 of materials in my hood.
Here'* a hood kinda like mine, but on a Camaro. It'* called a Jongbloed.

Ya, it'* going to look tough, but mainly doing it to be different, not look like crap, and being cheaper than an aftermarket hood. I bought an aftermarket hood for my Firebird 8 years ago and that was a lot of money to spend.
