What a day...
On top of all this happening http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...ic.php?t=93412 I went out to cut up some wood for the woodstove.
All started out fine. Saw fired up nice and I reved it a few times to get it warm.
BANG
Saw stopped dead.
First thing I thought is the chain popped off, checked that, nope.
Now I am a little upset, I JUST bought this saw not even two weeks ago.
I took off the cover and the clutch wouldn't even spin at all. I bring it into the house and take the clutch apart and find that it is completly shattered and destroyed inside.
SO, I have a friend run me up to Home Depot ( Steph is at work, my car is broke ) to return / exchange the saw. They return it no problem, but, of course, don't have the same saw in stock
I end up talking to a manager to see if they have any hiding anywhere. Of course not... He then says "grab a cart guys, I'm gonna make you work"
We head over to the saws and he loads me up with a $200 saw, and sold it to me for $170, the same price as the saw I just returned
I returned a 42cc 18" Poulan Pro and the gave me a 46cc 20" Poulan Pro for the same price The 20" bar will come off eventually and get replaced with either a 16" or 18" bar though.
Oh yeah, afterwords my friends car wouldn't start and the battery went dead... We had to call another friend to come give us a jumpstart and possibly bring us home. Luckily, it started with cables.
SO, after a LONG hard day of broken saws and broken cars, everything ended good
