Regarding a couple comments above, Haro started this topic without consulting with the Admins or Mods. (which is fine, I just wanted to point out that there'* nothing 'official' about his question).
I think he'* just curious.

I'd donate up to $50 a year, but i wouldn't be as happy parting with that money if it were a memberships fee
Someone would have to pay me about $200 to keep me away from the site for a year.

After being here...meeting many new friends...
It'* tough to put a price on things. To first join, and view/post..I probably never would have if a price were involved. Now that BC is a part of my life.. there is value there and I would pay a fee.
I think of it this way. Jeff hosts and does an awesome job, Admins, Mods and GH'* provide as they can. Each poster contributes to the overall forum.
Then in the spirit of the club and what Jeff has setup and given.... those that host/plan/attend meets contribute. I look at people like Elmo and Gonneville that drove over 12 hours to a meet. In fuel alone..that'* a significant amount. Not to mention Canadians with bum AC. , Fake Canadians that purchase a car to attend.
Due to the nature of the club and site being cost free...many have that extra to mod, learn and get together.
This probaby doesn't answer the original question....but it'* my $5 worth of thoughts.
