We've been looking for a car for my husband for awhile to save gas. This is what $800 got us!

(ignore my reflection in the last one...)

It'* a little dirty. We just washed and buffed it last night, but it rained...
1997 Pontiac Grand Prix GT with a 3800 v6 My husband'* boss got it as part of a deal with some stuff he wanted...he didn't want the car. He figured since my husband'll use it to drive there every day (work is a half hour drive from home, about 35 miles), he'd sell it to us for cheap to help us save a few bucks. It runs and drives beautifully. HUD, steering wheel controls, equalizer radio, leather, and so on...

And counting Thank heaven it was well maintained...honestly, if it lasts about four months, it'll pay for itself.

Hehe. Believe it or not, that'* the interior after I spent three hours of my life cleaning it. The mats and carpeting will either need to be shampooed or replaced, but the leather looks great!

Yeah, that'* what we decided. The car had been stored in a barn with the windows down :? There was either dog hair or wool (not sure which) all over the interior before I vacuumed, as well as corn husks and dirt.
My husband is a diesel mechanic anyway, so the interior, particularly the floor, will not be pretty anyway. You should see the floor in my truck...
