Well, there go the shingles....

looking at the first pic, the shingles are nailed in the wrong place. they are supposed to be nailed in the tar strip above the colored area. so i think that the contractor would be liable for any damage done. i would file a complant and see what happens.

same thing happened here the other night too! there are about 5 dozen shingles in the parking lot. makes me glad i park my car on the opposite side of the lot no where near the buildings. i mentioned to the leasing office that it looks like their buildings got hit hard by that wind storm and she said they know, they need to replace all the roofs but they don't have the budget for it. that must suck.

Yup, the shingles are ALL like that. Not only that, but like I said, the way they have an exposed nail in the center is a guaranteed leak after a couple years...
Anyway, they have asked for estimates. Looks like the glass is gonna cost $585 installed for windshield and RR side glass(PPG glass, which is the original factory supplier or the side glass. Front was AP, but they aren't making it anymore, so PPG is it.)
Haven't had a chance to take the car over to a body shop for an estimate on paint and chrome, but the tech on the phone said he remembered the chrome piece as being over $400.
It looks like the scratches in the paint will buff out, except maybe for a long one on the driver'* door. Not even sure how the hell it got hit there, but it wasn't there before the storm, so...
