recapped? no, that was a BRAND new tire w/ the car w/ only 10,000 miles on it... as far as tire issues w/ them we hadnt heard of anything goin on w/ BF Goodrich, it was all the Firestone tires.....

Glad your ok man! Never buy any firstone tire, and Im not a big fan of BF Goodwrench either. Purchase some Duelers from Bridgestone, they are really reliable on trucks.

Dude, isn't bridgestone the same as firestone? It seems that they were having problems with both the bridgestone and firestone tires on Explorers. Anyone confirm? Disprove? Flame? Whatever floats your boat.

Fire stones suck. I've got Bridgestones on my car and I had Bridgestones on my truck.....Only reason I don't have them anymore is that they went bald when the 383 vortec stroker when in....... imagine that. They were great tires though....I never could get stuck with them, never had a flat...Or a blow out in this case.
