LMFAO!
and THAT'* all I have to say about THAT.
Ok, maybe this will start a rant. I love how people think that they're an expert on a subject just from watching a movie. Not that Mr. Bonneville here has made such a claim, but my family has. They got that movie for Christmas, and now they're anti-SUV, anti-fossil fuels, heck, anti everything that the earth doesn't "like". They even got mad at ME when I told them my car got 23-ish miles to the gallon. Sure, a lot of his claims are valid, but in a Wall Street Journal editorial, one bravely stepped forward to criticize this movie, questioning his claims. This movie is based on fairly new information, and there has to be MUCH more done. Besides, if we were to mend our bad habits, think about China and their "unlimited" coal supply. This isn't just us. I don't know, I'm def. not an expert on the subject, just a critic.

P.*. Are we forgetting the number one cause of "global warming"? Cow Farts.

Ok, this may be a rant or just my opinion, take it as you will. There was an ice age i dont know how many millions of years or what ever but the last time i looked in a dinosaur book... there was no snow, with that, i do belive we are still coming out of an Ice Age so to speak. Global warming is just something to blame because we always need a scapegoat.

Eh, I have my own opinion, like everyone else here.
All I'll say is that I plan on seeing the movie. I will choose what I will belive and what I won't.
ALL OTHER MEMBERS: DON'T START A FLAME WAR IN HERE!

Honestly petraman, I was on your side until I watched this film! I seriously thought "oh great, another tree huggin' movie", then I sat my a$$ down and watched it!
Maybe it was just me, maybe not, but it scared me!
I don't think this is made-up, there is just too much scientific proof that it'* real.
$4.00 to rent it, if $4 is beyond your budget let me know, I'll see what I can do to make sure this movie makes it your way.

I watched the whole video on youtube...
honestly he makes a lot of key points, some stuff I scoffed at (like drilling for oil in Alaska....) but other things make a whole lot of sense.
The whole bit about the western piece of Antartica and Greenland made me shiver. He didn't show what would happen if both melted...
And I've heard theres two major factors to the global warming... for some reason Trees (and how we dont let mother nature burn down a ton of trees like she wants to) and Cows.
So, save the planet. Eat more meat

I'll start by saying I have not seen the movie, nor do I like Al Gore at all. But I have seen things about Global warming and about the movie. I think it'* a bit alarmist and overstated, but I do think there are some important issues we need to think about. I'm not saying we have to get all crazy about it, but just put a conscious effort to try to do little things to not worsen the situation.
