Default WANTED: Old Buddy L, Tonka, Struco, Nylint, etc Trucks

I have been collecting older Buddy L, Tonka, Struco and other toy trucks for a while now, and have decided to see if people here have any that they are looking to get rid of. Any condition is fine as I can use parts on others if they are too far gone. Here is a picture of a couple of the ones I have so far as examples. Looking mostly for stuff pre-80'*. PM me pictures and what you would want for them. Thanks.

Does that red one have the hydraulic-action dump box? I had one like that when I was a kid. I remeber how I loved that one. . . .

Those all look to be in great condition. Do you repaint, etc? Or are those survivors?

I think there'* still a bunch of old trucks at my Mom'* place, in a box. She did mention wanting to get rid of them some day. I will try and remeber to see what'* going on with them now. All of ours would be the right vintage for you, I know that. Mostly Tonka as I recall.

Not sure on the red one. It has been repainted. It is the most recent edition and hasn't been looked over very well by me yet.

The rest are originals, and in surprisingly good condition. I have a bunch of others from when I was a kid, but they are not in the greatest shape, but I am going to be trying to restore a couple of them.

Still looking for these. Need to clear off the shelf so I can get the latest purchase to fit.

Also planning on taking a basket case one that i had when I was a kid (the reason it is a basket case) and paint it up with my company logo on the side and take it to work as a desk-decoration I think.

I was also thinking if I could find a basket case car hauler of painting it, and somehow getting some Bonneville Club Transport stickers made for it. The only issue then would be getting scale bonneville models made for it...

That would be awesome. My bro-in-law says he has some, but he has a 2year old boy, so I think he'* planning on giving them to him. I'll ask when I see him next though.

Woo Hoo! Didn't think I would get them, but the woman who had them had phone trouble and I was the first to call since it was fixed

Big thanks to Jim for getting them for me and hanging onto them til I can come out and get them.

Just wanted to show the new additions to the family of tonka. there are a couple more on the way also.

The dump truck is a 64 or 65 model as it has the solid tires. The others are all late 60'* or early 70'*. None of these are ones I had when I was younger. Those are all still in the shed waiting to be brought out. Still looking for more, but the majority of my buying is done for a while while I save up for a house.
