I think my brother gets them from ebay or amazon. He buys them from the college store and then returns them when the cheaper ones come in the mail so that he doesn't have to go without book for the first week of class.

I personally used www.alibris.com this past semester. Not sure how they were price-wise, I know they were quite a bit cheaper than the on-campus bookstore, so thats all that mattered to me. Almost every single book I ordered came quickly except for one, which I just got today. If we hadnt cancelled classes the first week, I wouldve now just finished my second week without a book.
Alibris doesnt sell many books, mainly they network together booksellers. I did a group project on them last semester, so I decided to use them this semester.

check on
www.amazon.com
www.ebay.half.com
and
www.ebay.com
When buying text books, you may wish to get the ISBN code number from the book as there are many, many editions out there of the same book. when we need to buy them, we go to the college store, get a good look of the cover, jot down the ISBN code, and then go online to search. It is probably not crucuial to get the exact same one.
However, some text books take a long time to receive if they refuse to expedite shipment...that can be a problem if you need it for an assignment.

I usally just front out the cash for the books at the book store but this sem. the bookkeeper person decided to only order 15 books for the class i'm in and theres 45 students....smart right :? .. ya i know.. so i was left with no choice to finding other ways of finding this book. So ill search the websites and try to find the cheapest and fastest shipping one.. thanks again Nick
