Someday there will only be two corporations in the world - WalMart and Microsoft. Everyone else will be a subsidiary or a supplier.
Remember, you heard it here first.
Sorry for the hijack...back to layaway...

I guess that means I've gotta go get my bag of M&M'* out.
I sure hope they didn't put them back
Seriously..........
That means there are going to be a bunch of kids who won't be getting what they wanted for christmas.
I think it will hurt them during their after Thanksgiving sales
Persnoally,it really didn't matter to me anyway. if I really want it,I just save the money for it

OK This may get long a winded...
working for wally over the last many years.... I have seen just about everything... Everytime I think I have seen it all They whip out something new...
Lets take an example... a customer wanted to buy a Microwave for their daughters dorm room... They went for the Sunbeam.... $55... They asked me for my thoughts... I told them that Microway would be a mistake( as we had 5 of them come back during my shift ) But more importantly the mark up on the unit was insane...
They asked me which one I would get... I showed them the GE for $58 and the markup was very reasonable... Some things are cheap, But do keep in mind Wal Mart does rip you off when ever they can...
Lets have another example... Roll Backs.... Um yeah... Sure
An Iten that was $17.95 one week is suddenly $18.98 the next week...A couple of weeks go buy and that item is now on Roll Back at $18.29.... Uh huh.... Yeah you have been fooled... A lot of the customers knew better, and I loved it when they came to talk to me about it, it was always fun to get into a little chat with the customers...
But there are some good bargins to be had, you just have to be a smart shopper and watch all of the time... Sooner or later you will pick up on their ways...
Wal Mart stock had been pretty sluggish over the past 5 years... And things on the homefront are not as good as they would like everyone to believe... Assoiates are not being treated as good as they once were.. Sam Walton has to be rolling in his grave... 7 or 8 years ago I would have told you this was a good company to work for... Now days if you can avoid it please do so...
as for shopping there... If you are that bargin shopper... Its hard to avoid Wally Mart when a certain Tire is $75 each and that same tire is $120 down the road...
So yes I work there, I shop there a little and use my discount on everything I buy... What can you do when you are trying to watch your money..

I hear you on the rollbacks.. push come to shove though it seems that even if the raise then lower with rollback they are still cheaper than the competition... so either way you win! Agree, Don?

Rollbacks suck there are for the noobs tha just walk down the main iles
Now.. where you find the good deals is walking down the back iles and look at the ends of them. some of walmarts clearence stuff is realy cheap, other times its like. $4.38 (was 5.28 ) lol yeah... lol
but somtimes you can find things like 30-80% off just have to watch
