Vollmer Family Extends Gratitude to Bonneville Club
#11
Thank you for raising such a fine young man. We realize none of our comments can ever assuage the pain of your loss, but we thank you for taking the time to register here and join us in remembering your son. I only hope that I can live a meaningful life and die having done something as great as Chad was doing. I hope you can find some consolation in the fact that Chad is loved and missed by so many people in your community and in the Bonneville Club family.

I had spoken to Chad several times via AIM and miss our conversations. Chad was doing what he wanted and paid the supreme sacrafice for his service.
We here at BC not only lost a member but also a friend.

Mr Vollmer. Thank you for joining and posting. Losing Chad has affected so many of us in ways that we can not express. It'* not imaginable what you and your family are feeling. We will carry Chad'* memory with us, and hold him closely in our hearts. God bless you and your family, and may he give you strength to make it through this very difficult time.

I'd like to also thank you for raising such a brave, honorable son. He is a true American hero...he is our personal hero. There are no appropriate words to express how we all feel... we wish The Vollmer family comfort in knowing that we mourn his loss deeply, and his memory will carry on not only in this forum, but on our cars all across North America; literally from Eastern Seaboard to the shores of the Pacific, from Northern Alaska and Canada to the tips of Texas and Florida. If there is ever anything we can do, we are here for the Vollmer family.
From the Proud Friends of a Fallen Soldier...God bless you and your family.

To Chad and the Vollmer Family:
It is people like you and yours that me and my family owe gratitude for the privilege to live safe and free. Chad will never be forgotten.

Mr. Vollmer,
I hope you Heather, Ben and Mrs. Vollmer are doing okay. I will stop by sometime but I think for now it'* best for me to calm down for a bit, because I can't believe how hard it hit home with me also. I'm still here if you need me to do anything at all for you guys, but I just think it'd kill me right now to be some place him and I used to hangout all the time and he'* just not there anymore. I'll catch you all later. Take care and love you.

Mr Vollmer,
I did not know Chad but by reading these posts and reading some of the other posts and dedications I am assured that your Son was much more than just another Joe and that he he helped and touched many hearts both here on the BC and also in his walk here on earth. I would also like to express my condolences and pray for your hearts to be comforted and held in the good Lord'* mighty hand.
"May you always be blessed; with walls for the wind, a roof for the rain, a warm cup of tea by the fire, laughter to cheer you, those you love near you and all that your heart might desire!"

"The path we have chosen for the present is full of hazards, as all paths are. The cost of freedom is always high, but Americans have always paid it. And one path we shall never choose, and that is the path of surrender, or submission."
