bc you cant just leave a country in ruins. if we had rebuilt germany after ww1, there wouldn't have been a ww2. Hitler'* rise to power was directly linked to the condition germany was left as the result of ww1.

Remember Japan after WW2? They didn't rebuild their economical infrastructure...we did. We showed them how to build things, and build them cheap, and with quality. Some 60 plus years later, look at where that country is at now.
