Meh. Its not too bad as long as neither partner makes a huge deal of it. All the stupid cards and little motorized singing toys at wal-mart are really really annoying though.
My g/f and I are just going to grab lunch together when we're both on break and I'm going to give her some twizzlers and smelly soaps because she likes it.... nothing fancy.
I remember when I was in grade school and it was such a big deal... we made little "mailboxes" out of paper bags or shoeboxes and everyone in the class would give everyone else a valentine in their "mailbox". Looking back it was kinda cute, but why? The free candy was always a plus, I guess.
