Unexpected opportunity
I bought all of the new interior materails for the 93 at Just Rite Auto Trim in West Springfield, MA. From going there a half a dozen times or so, the gal behind the counter became interested in my project. I guess the store'* primary business is with auto dealers and dosen't see many do-it-yourselfers. I had a chance to stop by this afternoon and show off my mostly new interior to her. When I got there however, the man behind the counter informed me that she no longer worked for the company. I explained that I was there to show her the results of the materials that she had sold to me.
The man looks out the door towards the parking lot and asks "The Bonneville?" I replied "yep." He then walked from behind the counter towards the door and motioned to exit the store. We walked up to my car and he opened the passenger'* door, stuck his inside and looked around... at the carpet, headliner, visors and sunroof gasket. His head then emerged from the car and he looked at me and asked "You installed all of this?" I again replied "Yep." He then asked "Want a job?"
I was a little surprised at his reaction but the first thing I thought of was... Yea, that way I can do that custom green and tan leather interior thing I've been thinking about. I told him about my current employment suituation and told him that we can get together later on this week to talk about it.
I've been in the wireless business for 15 years now and that experience would be tough to walk away from but I've been half-jokeingly been talking about a career change for months now. We'll see...

YEA! You never know when opportunity will come knocking on your door. It'* a shame you couldn't take a vacation from the wireless and do this other job to see how you like it. I think you have a real talent for it.
