thats a massive turbo. i wonder how much lag it has cuz it must take some high rpms to spool up that big turbo.

The lag must be horrible. Downright horrible.

I feel that a pair of twins that makes, say, 400hp just about everywhere rather than a big fatty that makes 2784937459345345hp for the upper rev range to be much, much better. Balance

yer... not a Celica. 3.0 I6, RWD, one of the best inline-sixes ever known to man. It'* not everyday that you can do eight to nine hundred horses on pretty much stock internals, and yet there have been several guys who have done it reliably. Bone stock, it'* right up there with the Corvette ZR-1, if not better - they were two vehicles that were new at around the same timeframe.

T'was way back from 1979-1986 (Mark I and II) that the Supra was known as the Celica-Supra. 'tis where my love lies.

(Unfortunately) the F&F saga has caused inflation in the Mark IV Supra'* prices out there, Canadian prices for a nice twin turbo 6-speed model can approach 30 to 40 grand.
