it'* the "Z" 4.3, throttle body injection, yes replaced icm. Yes, different than the 91. Did find the problem though this afternoon. It'* hard to explain what the parts are, I'll post the pic tommorow when I can scan it. Jist of the story is I had to make a run to the jy, to get a distributer shaft. Took right off. the part is part of the shaft. Learn something new everyday. Now I have 2 icm'* (1 new) and 1 new dist cap. I might be able to sell the new icm to my mech friend, or at least get some credit for something else. Good thing I didn't break down and buy another coil too.

Yes, running again. Althought, the check engine light is now on. Wasn't on and didn't have any stored codes prior to firing it up. I'll have to count the blinks again. Hoping it will just go away by itself.

here'* a pic of the distributer. The star shaped "washer" I'll call it on part 4 was busted up on mine. this piece is supposed to rotate with the shaft and rotor inside of part 9. My rotor (3) was turning, but I didn't know the role of part 4, and didn't notice it not turning. That'* why I only got 1 spark on crank. part 4 would make it'* short trip causing contact with 9 , but wouldn't spin to the next point. The pickup coil ( 8 ) only saw 1 instance to call for spark. The only way to get part 4 is buy the whole shaft, easier and cheaper to get the whole assembly at the j/y. My original icm (part 11) was good, so now I have 2 extra'*
