Default Training Crows to make us money!

So i was watching a TV show today about this guy who lives in a large city and was upset about the over abundance of crows that gathered on his balcony. He told his friend he wanted em dead. His friend knew a guy that had a crow for a pet.. and trained it to complete tasks on a laptop for treat.

Crows have been found to be smarted than Chimps. A Chimps intelligence is similar to a 3 year old child, where a Crows intelligence is similar to a 17 year old. Not in the amount of inelegance, but more of the kind of intelligence.

Crows have learned to take shelled nuts and wait untila stop light turns red, walk into the road and place a nut infront of the stopped vehicle, wait for the cars to go and when the light turns red again, run into the road and eat there free lunch.

A man took a small bucket of food and lowered the bucket into a long tube. then laid a wire next to it. a crow would come along, bend the end of the wire with its beak, then use the lenth of wire to hook the handle on the bucket and pull it out of the tube..

ANYHOW... back to the story... There is Millions of dollars in lost money in the form of loose change on the ground. This guy is training crows around the city to deposit a coin into these "vending machines" he created and the crow will receive a peanut. he wants to place these in cities across the country.

Pretty neat.
is here a little story on the subject, not quite as informative as the show i watched but here ya go

I am in AWE!!!. We have quite a few crows here and they abound in my backyard that thanks to the wife has alot of feeders in it. My yard sits against a large Forest. So daily crows are abundant. I like them, they are use to me and not a pest. They even warn me of people before the dogs.
