Melissa, my prayers are with you and Chad'* family. I can only imagine how difficult it was for you to post this, but we thank you for doing so. He and you have a lot of friends here.
There is more I want to say but I am unable to find the words. This hits too close to home.
God Speed Chad!

I was just PM'd to look at this.
I am still in shock and have no idea what to say.
My condolences to his family and everyone who knew him.
Chad, than you for your service.

I have been reading replies all day, and really have never been able to come up with the right words to express the range of emotions I have felt. Shock, disbelief, sadness, then very thankful for his serivce to our country. Some little nagging things seem a whole lot less important, today, than they had been yesterday.
Once, again, the uniqueness of the BC family rings very true. My thoughts go out to his family and friends who knew him best.

Chad lived with only his mom so that would be the best place to send anything. Thank you guys so much for the support, and I know his family will appreciate the kind heartedness of his second family here!

I'm really sorry to hear about this loss as well. I know firsthand how the shock feels unfortunately. one of my very good friends was killed in Iraq December 1st, 2005. :( I will pray for his family tonight.

:( This is just such sad news. I will say prayers for Chad and his family and friends. God bless!
WillWren - can the effort put forth for Chad already be redirected to flowers or a charity donation in his name from all of us at BC?
Thanks
Tim

Stories like this just drive home the point of ensuring that you take time out for the ones you love and/or are close to and enjoy them while they're still here........ life can be taken away at any time, in an instant!
