It'* hard to put into words how much it pains me to hear this. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and close friends.

Wow, this is awful.
We would make small talk on AIM occasionally, and he always talked about how we would meet up and go to the bar when he got back. I saw him last spring in the Meijer parking lot ... I think he was with Melissa'* mom.
So sorry to hear this. Don't know what to say.

Rest in peace, Chad. I liked you even though you and I never met.
Enjoy roaring down the heavenly autobahn with the whine piercing the air.

I've cycled through six different emotions in the past hour... messed up and re-wrote this post about three times now...
I regret not having the pleasure to have met Chad personally...when he left for Iraq, I was proud... whenever he would post from Iraq, I was proud... when he sent us pictures and talked about his day, I was proud... when he posted his videos, I was proud... I was proud of his bravery... proud of his courage...I felt his emotions as best I could... and the songs he chose for his videos took on a whole new meaning...
I was proud... I am proud... and I will always be proud of him and all of our troops... past, present, and future. God rest your soul, Chad...your memory will live on in those who'* lives you touched.

I am absolutely stunned by this. So stunned I don't know what to say or do besides stand up and Salute BC'* fallen Comrade.
I wish you and Chad'* family, his unit, and anyone who was close my condolences, and also want you to know that his efforts do not go unappreciated by those who are not over there doing the hardest job on the earth these past few years.
May he Rest In Peace, and I hope God has his dream cars ready in heaven for him.
