42k old 2000 L67 starter sitting in here on the shelf if you find you need one. I might even throw in a free new Magnflow HF 2.5" Cat for $250.
For $2000, go check it out, check for fender and door prices on www.car-part.com (about $200-400 apiece in color if you can find between Brainerd/Fergus Falls -I'll pick up if you want me to -if I have day off work within the next 2 months- and as far south/east/west as you want to drive).
Go over the lows of the car, mention a couple high points to not sound like a jerk, and then offer them $1500 in green-backs.

I have 2000 cash in hand.. going to check it out in 2 hours (probably purchase unless there is something MAJOR wrong)
I think I'm gonna offer 1750 and see if he bites.
I am picturing a 30-35yr old business man that had a mechanic tell him a lot of stuff wrong with his car and he doesnt want to go thru that, so he sells it cheap to get rid of it.
