They turned me down!!!
Doh!! Stupid Citi Bank just turned down my application for a credit card!!! I'm pissed! This was the one credit card that I wanted, a shell card, so I could earn money back from my gas purchases. They said that my annual income doesn't meet their standards... what?? Does anyone have a good idea... I'm going to try and have my dad call them and see if they can do anything for them. He has had their card for quite a while... If that doesn't work, can anyone reccomend a good credit card for an 18 year-old such as myself who just wants a card to help them establish a line of credit. Thanks.

I got a AAA visa card but the application was sent to me. I have 0% apr right now til april or so. I earn a return on my gas purchases too. I also just got my new delta sky miles card with $3000 credit line and im only 20. Usually when I apply I put in my whole family income instead of just my own. that may help you.

do you have a checking?
well i know Capital one or Sears
its going to be hard for you to get a low interest and just a plain mastercard of visa
you might have better luck with a dept. store or something fisrt then try to get something else?

I don't know if that would work... It might seem odd that for income I have a 6 figure number yet I am still in HS.... but it is an Idea all the same, thanks!
