test drove 2dr GTP 1999
OMG, i am in love. I thouth it would feel like my car , but that sucker is quick as hell!!!! The responsiveness is crazy..turning was easier..bla bla bla. I believe i'm set on what car i'm buying after college. 0-60 splits felt at least a second faster..but thats just the way it felt, i'm sure it was less. After all its a bit less luxurious, but i'm willing to lose a little. It had leather, heated seats. HUD, dual climate control and FAST! sorry this was poorly written..i was just splurging out ..and i still love the alien so semma down

How much were they asking for it. i was going to get one before I choose the Bonneville, but they were either out of my price range or to many miles on them. I definently like they way they look.

10,500 and it had 60k miles.. previouslyowned by a doctor of some sort. It was a bronze color with bright silver GTP badges. I'm soo in love. no $$$ though.

sounds like a VERY good deal for those, especially if the doc wasnt a smoker or anything. I'd take it, but thats me talking (look at what im driving!). Im sure ur bonnie is worth at least $7-8000, if you get the dealer down enough i bet you could.

Because the GTP is a smaller and lighter car it feels a LOT quicker than the SSEi, really it is only about 1/2 second quicker 0-60 and in the 1/4. The way the suspension is set up makes it seem like a much sportier and quicker car. I can tell you for sure than when I drive the GTP it is stiff and feels a lot like a sportscar, whereas the SSEi isn't as stiff, but it doens't feel any less stable, you can just definately tell you are tagging along another 300lbs and a much bigger car. Both the SSEi and GTP are very nice cars, but honestly, I would rather have an SSEi just because they are much more luxiourious, and when you compare them there are a LOT of little things the SSEi has that the GTP doesn't. Don't get me wrong, a GTP is a VERY nice car, it is just that the SSEi is MUCH nicer IMO.

well, come to ontario. You can get them a dime a dozen, there are more of them around here than civics for crying out loud...I've driven them before, and i'm sure you know what my response would be. Toilet cars, I believe, is what Murdock calls them.

only reason i like them better is cuz they are cheaper than a fully loaded SSEi, and smaller, the smallest car i have ever driven is our Bonneville.
