i have found that the small size of this car is rather advantageous. i can fit in places that you wouldnt even think of dreaming to fit in in a bonneville. gotta love my dinky little car

What motor do you have? I know most Tempos had a 4banger, but I've seen some the had the 3.0 that the base Taurus had during the early 90s.
Ever thought of doing an SHO swap?

and no, i had thought about the taurus 3 liter, but was scared away by the thought of working on it. the sho 3.2 liter would make a serious sleeper though!

This post reminds me of the time some guy had a slightly riced out Tempo and he tried to race me in the Bonneville
But my first car was a Celebrity, which actually wasn't a bad car if you took away the big dent in the side and the fact that it overheated and stalled every single time I drove it if I idled for more than a couple minutes.

tempos are fun, but not awesome... my bro used to own 1.... my dad has had 3 celebrity wagons in the past, 2 with 2.4 liter 4 bangers and 1 with a 2.8... i learned to drive on the one with the 2.8... my first car that was mine is my bonneville

My first car was a 1986 Buick Century, 3.8 or 3.3, cant remember..but it was roasting time around every corner or when pulling out of high school parking lot (with no cop in sight).that thing had some balls. at 274,000 miles with the original THM 125C tranny with a 3.3 or 3.8 in there
