Techies Help!
Okay I'm stumped...
My moms computer (dell ) is being stupid. I have both our computers, and our laptop hooked up to a Linkys wireless router, which is hooked up to the cable modem. I can access the internet just fine on my computer, and the laptop just fine. But my moms computer wont. It gets to the point where it is "Obtaining Network Address" and it just stops, and says unable to obtain network address. and says it has limited or no connectivity. I've tried restarting the computer, restarting the router, switching the network cables around. I've checked all the settings on the computer i can think of, I'm just completely stumped. Anyone have any suggestions i could look at?? Thanks!

you could go to the network connection and enter the information manually (gateway, ip, and dns) this can be a bit technical and annoying, but if you don't have a bunch of different people using that network on different computers, you should be fine.

It'* been a while since I've had to troubleshoot a Windows network...
Any chance it'* just a crapped out network card? Got another you can swap in to check?
