Did you ever have a lot of night terrors because of it? I have sleep apnea and night terrors and on rare occasion sleep paraylsis do occur.

I have had sleep paralysis. That is scary.

No night terrors though.

I have sleep paralysis every now and then. The way I've heard it explained, the brain shuts off the link to the muscles so when you run or talk or whatever in your dreams, do don't actually do it. Sometimes you can wake up, but the link is still broken.

It freaks me out every time. I normally try to scream but nothing comes out.

I figured I'd update in case anyone was wondering about me.

I'm getting better slowly. My nose isn't as swollen anymore and the bleeding has nearly stopped. I do not have to wear gauze around it anymore. I can almost breathe through it. My throat on the other hand is very swollen (but normal according to my ENT). It'* is brutually painful, even to the point where 1000 mg'* of oxycodone only lasts about 2 hours. It sucks I have to miss all my classes, but I'm recovering ... slowly but surely.

wow...I didn't realize recovery was so painful for that operation. Good luck with that and go easy on the oxycotton if at all possible.

Yea, 3 surgeries at once is a real mess. Although it does beat 3 seperate surgeries...

Sol, I'd be very interested in hearing what your symptoms were with the sleep apnea.

I've been struggling with snoring most of my life, to the point that my legs jump in my sleep. The only 2 auto accidents I've ever had in my life were due to me falling asleep at the wheel. I'm always tired, exhausted, trouble concentrating, depression, no motivation. I can't remember the last time I got a good 8 hours sleep. My wife is terrified sometimes and wakes me when I'm sleeping because she says I stop breathing for over a minute and then gasp for air when she wakes me. Apparently I stop snoring many times during the night, when I sleep on my back my snoring is the worst I always have nightmares. I've gone twice to the hospital to the sleep clinic and I just can't sleep with 16 wires hooked up all over my body so there are never any results. And to boot I'm not allowed to roll over due to the wires. I wake up my kids with the entire bedroom doors closed. In a way, I never go into a deep sleep because my snoring keeps me awake to a certain point.

I can't sleep with the air mask, and if I'm intoxicated, my snoring worse.

Tell me how this compares to what you had.

PLEASE!
