But what is done, is done.

Anything that allowed him to live was bad. One of his defense strategies was to bargin to put him back in power to deal with Iran. As long as he was alive, a majority of Iraqies were genuinely fearful of his return to power. This won't solve any problems, but it might make some better.

I like the way their system works. Ok your sentenced to death you have one week to appeal and if your conviction is not overturned then you have the rest of the week to make your peace with God.
