Once you have decent credit, you can use competing card companies to get some very low rates..mine is currently 7.99%, not that I carry a balance now. I've also used one for business equipment costs. It has some advantages...ASSUMING you have good credit to start with.

Thats not to say I haven't dropped credit cards for various reasons.... But I like to keep the lower interest cards... My main card is a Master card.. The highest card I have is 9.99%

I'm only keeping my $500 limit capital one "platinum" because it'* my longest line of credit (credit history length is around 15% of your FICO). Now, my main one is my significantly larger USAA card which is GREAT, if any of you are in the military, or meet the req'* for having a family member in the services.
I don't know if I'd finance much of a business on a credit card. You're still at almost 11% on your rate.
I was surprised when my auto loan came back @ 6.5% when all i've had is 3 years with credit cards, granted I have a credit score over 700, but nothing long term, or large lending yet.
