Somewhere on your lot, there should be a sign saying that it'* a private parking lot, with the number of the towing service your complex uses. Call them and have it towed.

I'd have it towed.

Reminds me of a note I got once. In the area of my girlfriend'* sorority at college, all the street parking spots were rental spots (WTF right?). I found one spot that no one ever parked in right outside of the house. So I parked in it, sometimes overnight , for two months before I get a letter under my wiper.

The girl in the office is so freaking awesome you guys have no idea. haha. I called this morning right when they opened and I told her who it was calling and the first thing she said was "I saw that a car was parked in your car port. I was pretty mad when I saw that as I bet you were too. I already ran the plates on it to make sure it was another residents and had it towed out of your port. It'll be empty when you get home. I also have already sent out a letter telling them if they do it again they'll be evicted."


Simply awesome. It'* awesome because she literally lives just a few doors down from me so we look out for each other.

ahh, sometimes authority is on your side. a rare, but great feeling!

Sounds like it might just be worth asking her to dinner
