srt-10 ram up close and personal (4 - 640x480 pics)
my brothers graduation was this weekend, lots of people out in their sweet whips...
my dads best friend in high school shows up in this... he sold his road runner and malibu for this...

.. he said its 510hp stock, and he did an intake and stuff and is looking at 530hp... while a simple twin turbo kit doubles the hp to over 1000
he said it has been to 140, and it rides like a sports car even with the STOCK 22'" rims

this is, however, his everyday daily driver... and he drives it like its a normal truck...
noticed how close he parked to the curb with those stock 22" rims.. i bet they cost $500 each...?

$500 would be cheap for one of those rims. In the shop I work Boss' son who also works there had his truck (newer dodge ram 1500 with stock 20'* ) in the shop cuz his wife drove off the freeway :? to avoid a wreck she said.... But our shop tracked down a refurbed rim to replace his one that got owned by a fence. The refurbished one cost $800 Sounds about right price wise if were we ever to cut any rims on some of our big CNC machines, I'm sure we'd charge more.

Looks nice..
Odd that they wouldn't bother to try and develop a better motor more suited to a truck versus simply dropping in the Viper one... (if that'* what they did)

Sold a RoadRunner, for that? WTF? Guess I'm biased b/c my dad had a 1969 Roadrunner, 318, 2 4bbls, 4 spd, 13" clutch. That thing was baaaad @$$. Other than the clutch and the carbs (the carbs were stock 383) there was nothing in Elbert County that could outrun it. NOTHING. He never lost a race.
