i dont understand, what do you mean 'gives you goosebumps?' do you mean that the song is loud and crazy or it means something to you or what? (not being my normal jagoff self either)

That moves you emotionally. Like the National Anthem, etc.

Does the NIN give you goosebumps too... or just the Cash version.
Actually the Nine inch Nails version is good, but I'm more of a country music guy. The video is what is more memorable for me. (Cash)

Exactly! Moves you emotionally. Touches something inside you like, patriotism, love, hate, fear, reverence, etc.

I couldn't remember who sang it so I looked it
and I got goose bumps looking it up.

American Soldier- Toby Keith
I listed to that today as a reminder to myself whats at stake when I reelisted this morning for the last time. I'm @ 15 and it will take me to retirement. I will have to leave my 9 month old next year to go back to sea. The song is good but the vid knocked me over.

Also "Do You Remember" Darrel Worrley.
"and some went down like heros in that Pennsylvania field"
Is TAPS a song?

Yep. There are several different versions of lyrics for it though, because it was originally just a bugle call. And why is it that there isn't a trumpeter in the freakin world that can get through that simple little tune without flubbing? :?

My list of goosebumps songs:
Lightning crashes-LIVE (first time I ever heard it was just after the Oklahoma bombing, and they played a DJ cut of it with bites from the news coverage. I had to pull off the road because I was sobbing by the end of the song)

The green fields of France-Irish traditional
Hurt-definitely the Johnny Cash version(even Trent Resnor admitted that Johnny did a better job with it than NIN did)

Never Again-Incubus(?) (rage goosebumps)
April Flowers-Evanescence
There Were Roses-Clancy Brothers
Zombie-Cranberries
Hallelujah-Jeff Buckley
1812 Overture(that version with dance beat behind it)
