Yup, their interior sucks. I drove a 97 GP before my Bonneville, I thought it drove fine, but the build quality sucked. The lights in the doors both feel out, pieces rattled, and the blower motor would squeak until I finally fixed that. One good thing is it had 80000 miles and the upper intake was still going strong.

Interesting. My best friend has owned his GTP since new. It'* at about 70k miles, and not a squeak or rattle in it. Love the color, too. It'* silver with a gold pearl.

My fiancee has a 00 GP GT . Its an OK car, but it seems once one thing is fixed, something else goes wrong with it(good thing it has a warranty) . The good thing about the car is that its awesome in the snow, and it looks good.

The only thing i dont like abouthhe GP is that it seems as if you can pick that thing up with your bare hands and throw it. That car is so light. i use to be scared to drive it in the winter.

I used to own a '97 GT. I give it credit for the abuse it took. It was considered a total loss 3 times before I owned it and it was still under 50,000 miles. (I picked it up DIRT cheap obviously). It was nothing to be impressed with. Other than that, like you guys said, the interior felt and looked cheap. The seats were less than comfortable. And I think the drivers vision lines were horrible. You won't find me purchasing one ever again.

Hmmm... how do the earlier generation GPs compare, like around a 94-96 GP? It was the previous body style...

I have a friend with a 95 GP se, the interior is decent but not compearable to a bonnie. It seems to ride a lot like my SSE. It is sort of weak at low rpm power it is near 4000 rpm and tourque seems to increase, it has a 3100
