alright I suppose its time I gave you some backstory...

Weve been dating for two years. I have had more relationships in the past but the longest before this was only 8 mos. which, im retrospec, looks really short now...

I love this girl and im not ashamed to say that she was the first girl ive ever... *been* with. She means alot to me and I dont want to hurt her. I am very in touch with what i want and what i need.

You have to understand that I am her first relationship. I took from her something only one person can. She cares about me and adores me with everything in her. She love me and I know it. She will base all of her relationships on me and the way I was. She may have dumped me but Ive done my part in deserving it too. She called and called and kept telling me how she made the biggest mistake. I kept hanging up on her and telling her to stop calling.. and then she did... and five minutes later there was a knock on my door and she ran right too me.

She told me all about how she realized that she hadnt comprimised anything becuase she was waiting for me to compromise. she also realized that she has been the one that makes me yell so loud and be so mean sometimes. she realized that without her provoking me I would never get like that. She told me she understands that if she stops arguing for the sake of it and stops just shooting down everything I say I will stop yelling.

Im making an honest to god attempt with this. For the sake of her heart, not mine. She means alot to me and I know that if its meant to be it will work with time. She dosent understand that yet. again, this is her first break-up.

She promised me two things

1) to work on all the things she told me she would for two years but never actually did
and
2) I made her promise that if one of us stepped and said, "weve given this all we can, its not going to work", that we would provide reaons so we have closure and we would walk away as gently as possible

I love her and part of my heart will always be reserved for her. Just remember I am taking her back so she has closure, I know that if it dosent work we will move on. She deserves another shot I think.
