Wow, way too expensive for what get...

2005
Price $14,995.00
Mileage 57,650 km = 35821 miles

Maybe I'd pay $5000-ish for one... But, I'd still feel stupid driving it...

IMO those cars are pretty smart, so long as we don't have a bunch of other oversize vehicles on the road. I don't think they're any more dangerous than a motorcycle.

To help economy, we need to go smaller. Most people in my area don't ever use their extra large trucks for anything they need an extra large truck for. And people that buy large vehicles to be safe are selfish. For example, the damage my Bonneville did to the Toyota Matrix that collided with it was incredibly biased. I felt nothing, and there was very little crumple. Their wheel came off, it bent their frame, and bent body panels on the opposite side of where I impacted it.

Smart car isn't designed for rural areas or huge highways. It'* for city use, like in Europe where it was designed (I think).

My teacher has a 500 Horse 65 Mustang Fastback, a late model Firebird once clipped his rear , there was a huge chunk of plastic missing from the Firebirds bumper, the 65 Mustang, the damage on that was fixed by pushing on a tiny piece of metal with his finger

What does a couple with three children call it? Toodamnsmall car.
I can see the appeal of it in city where space is limited. However you got to have the right amount of craziness and courage to drive on of those on an interstate, especially when a convoy of trucks with 60' trailers passes you.

A Neon hit my F150 on the right rear 'quarterpanel' of the bed. Just about tore the front off the Neon, doing over $3000 in damage. My F150 got a popped tire and a broken exhaust hanger. It didn't even scratch the paint! TG for plastic neons! LOL

Ya know, I'd get one and do the 'busa swap. That thing has got to have like a 3 foot turning radius. It'd be killer in town. I might even spring for the cabrio.
